SABIAN SYMBOLS

サビアンシンボルとは、黄道360度それぞれに対応する象徴的イメージです。牡羊座1度から始まり、2度、3度と進み、最後は魚座30度で締めくくられます。占星術では、直感的な洞察や自己理解を深める手がかりとして用いられています。
私はこの360のシンボルを5度ずつ束ね直し、国内外の占星術師との対話を重ねながら6年かけて72点の作品へ再構成しました。12星座を横断する象徴の流れを追いながら、サビアンシンボルの構造的な美しさと意味の連なりを一望できます。

The Sabian Symbols are symbolic images assigned to each of the 360 degrees of the zodiac. Beginning at Aries 1°, they progress one degree at a time and conclude at Pisces 30°. In astrology, they serve as intuitive tools for gaining insight and fostering self-understanding.
Over the course of six years, I restructured these 360 symbols into 72 works, grouping them in five-degree segments. Each piece was created through ongoing dialogue with astrologers. By tracing the symbolic flow across all twelve signs, this collection offers a panoramic view of the Sabian Symbols' structural elegance and interwoven meanings.
